Spring Pink with Ted Baker

For half a decade, the infamous millennial pink has taken over the world of fashion and interior design, landing itself prime real estate on news feeds throughout the world. Whether you’ve fallen head over heels for this delicate, romantic shade or prefer to steer clear of the seemingly never-ending trend, there’s no denying the ubiquitous influence of this colour over an entire generation. As a lover of all things pink, there was no denying my happiness as runway show after runway show my screen lit up with pops of pink; millennial, neon, rosy. It’s official folks, pink is back again for another season of playful femininity.

I’ve forever been a fan of Ted Baker for it’s timeless designs, stellar quality and feminine detail, and this EVLIIN Face logo wide sleeve sweatshirt is no exception. Nitin surprised me with this piece for Valentine’s Day (after a nudge or two at the mall), and to say I’m obsessed would be an understatement. I love the layered affect without the extra weight of the second layer, and how the ruffles add the perfect, preppy touch to this fun yet casual sweatshirt. The embroidery detailing is immaculate and adds the perfect twist to a seemingly ordinary style. Perfect for weekend brunch, running errands and casual blog meetings, this sweatshirt is hands down my favourite spring piece to date

Fun Fact: Ted Baker isn’t actually a person. Founder and CEO of Ted Baker, Ray Kelvin, chose to brand his company under the name Ted Baker to remain anonymous. It’s quite rare to spot a picture of Kelvin without his face being obstructed in some way.

As as early adapter of millennial pink, Ted Baker is notorious for creating timeless designs with a soft, romantic colour palette, regardless of what’s on trend. The subtle detailing on this Embroidered skate dress is one of my favourite Ted Baker pieces at the moment, and if you’re into the ruffles how stunning are the details on this Frill bib lace applique cotton dress and this Ruffle sleeve high neck cotton top. Time and time again If find myself grabbing my Ted Baker cape featured in this post, but for a more casual look, I can’t resist this Floral jacquard bomber jacket, this Beauty sleep fitted t-shirt and this Relax full sleeve sweatshirt (from the same Ted Says Relax line as the EVLIIN sweatshirt).

Outfit Details: Aldo Stahle Hat, Urban Outfitters Sunglasses (similar here), Kate Spade Clutch (older style), Alice & Olivia Pants (similar here), Kate Spade Save the Date Princess Cut Studs.

That sweater is the cutest! Did Nitin get it online or at the mall, I want to try it on first.
