Holiday Gift Guide
Shop Local for Her

Tis the most wonderful time of the year. It goes without saying that things are looking a little different this holiday season, and so are my gift guides. I’ve been busy creating a series of gift guides for you guys, starting with my Shop Local for Her guide.

Supporting small businesses is something that’s always been extremely important to me, and this year I wanted to focus an entire gift guide on my favourite small businesses in the area. I have personally purchased from each of these businesses over the years and can attest to their incredible quality and service.

Accents for Living is located in downtown Oakville and is the ultimate home store for design lovers. They feature a carefully curated selection of quality pieces including decor, accessories, rugs, furniture and more. I’m gaga over these vintage-inpired drinkware pieces and have already added them to my Christmas list.
I don’t have the words to describe the awesomeness that is Maker’s Mojo. This hidden gem is located in Downtown Oakville and boasts an incredible selection of niche, handmade products from local artisans. Make sure to give them a follow on IG because they’re always posting fun, unique items that are perfect for gift giving, including this Vilks Ceramics mug which is one of my favs.
Another Maker’s Mojo pick! These little planters come with different sayings and I mean really, who doesn’t like plants …especially ones that don’t die?!
If you’re on the hunt for the softest, most luxurious handmade scrunchies, look no further! As seen in Vogue, Elle, Allure (& more), Chelsea King scrunchies really are all that …and more! You’ll rarely catch me wearing any other type of scrunchie.
I love the simplicity of Prysm pieces, and the price point makes them great for gift giving to friends and family. I’ve been wearing my Prysm pieces for years and the quality is fantastic. Here is the link for the necklace, rings and earrings.
Created by two Canadian mamas, North of Alpine sells the cutest winter hats. Not only are they fun & stylish but they’re super cozy as well. I love this Whistler collection, but they have some great neutral pom pom toques as well!
These Carole Tanenbaum Vintage YSL Earrings are available at one of Oakville’s most luxurious boutiques, Black Caviar. If you’re on the hunt for a curated selection of designer pieces, skip over Holt Renfrew and head straight to Black Caviar. Since this post, Black Caviar has moved in with By Tocca (they’re just across the street from their previous location) so you get double the shopping experience when visiting. They carry the most beautiful designer apparel, jewelry and beauty products from brands including Theory, T by Alexander Wang, Costes and more.
My sister gifted me these slippers (along with a ton of other beautiful finds) from Homebody for my birthday the other week. I love a good pair of slippers and haven’t taken these off. Homebody is located in Downtown Oakville and they carry a stellar collection of pieces for your home and body.

What do you get the gal who has just about everything? How about a custom illustration featuring a special memory or favourite picture?! I was gifted this illustration of Evan’s first beach vacation and it puts a smile on my face every time I see it. Stephanie Anne McKay is a Watercolour Artist who specializes in fashion illustration and live sketching.
I’ve been using and sharing Walton Wood Farm products for years, and I can’t speak highly enough of this brand. This Winter’s a B*Tch Sugar Scrub is my go-to scrub during the winter months. Their products work incredibly well and their collections are hilarious, making them a gifting favourite of mine for years. They have collections for women, men, pets …you name it!
When I saw this set (top and bottom) at Boa Boutique the other week it was love at first sight. Nitin ended up getting it for me for my birthday and I’ve been living in it since. Boa Boutique is one of my favourite boutiques in Oakville because they carry a stellar selection of North American brands, and they have a limited number of each piece so you won’t catch everyone rocking the same pieces as you. The hat, mask and mask straps are all from Boa Boutique as well. You can use my discount code KIKI10 for 10% your online Boa Boutique order!
This beaded tray from Accents for Living is the perfect accessory for any home!

Entripy.com is Canada’s leader for custom printed apparel. Design custom family shirts, a t-shirt for someone special, toques for the family …the options are endless! You can use my discount code FFD0026MANCB06 for 15% off your regular priced order.
Another great find from Maker’s Mojo! A custom Oakville cheeseboard? Yes please!
Happy Naturals makes the BEST rollers on the market, and their latest Duo Texture Rose Quartz is all the craze because not only can you use this on your face, but the spiked end can be used all over the body (helps with relief of sore muscles and inflammation). I use my roller religiously as part of my evening skincare routine (and in the mornings under my eyes) and I’m gifting these to my girlfriends for Christmas this year.  You can use my discount code KIKI10 for 10% off Happy Natural products at Kalosophie.
Yellow Door Studio is unlike any nail studio in the GTA. It’s more than just a nail salon, it’s an experience. An amazing, relaxing, luxurious experience. Get your nails done in the cleanest of clean environments while you sip on a cocktail or coffee and let your stresses slip away. Pick-up a gift card and let Yellow Door do the talking.
If you are on the hunt for the cutest hair accessories, Homebody is a must-visit. These are great for stocking stuffers or to add to any gift.

Maple & Lather offers a selection of premium soy candles and soaps. I love their soap subscription for a fun and unique gift idea, and I also love their soy candles which I’ve been enjoying a lot lately and come in some amazing scents. You can learn more about them in my post here.
These mittens from Boa Boutique are beyond warm and comfortable, and the pom pom is the cutest addition. You can use my discount code KIKI10 for 10% off your online Boa Boutique purchase.
Common Little Things is based in Oakville and they make unique handmade jewelry, including these geometric beauties. I have a pair of their gold hoops with glitter and love pairing them with pretty much everything.
This casual yet uber stylish cropped hoody at Black Caviar is perfect all year round. Pair with jeans or joggers when the weather dips, or rock with shorts on those cool summer evenings.

Happy shopping lovies!

xo, Kiki
