I love supporting local companies and have always been drawn to Canadian brands that create fun, unique pieces. When I started shopping for my little bambino the options were endless, but I found myself unintentionally gravitating towards true north companies producing items out of my own backyard. I stumbled upon Mia’s Moccs and was instantly drawn to the craftsmanship in their baby/toddlers moccasins, and the fact that they’re designed in British Columbia and ethically handmade overseas is a huge bonus.

Mia’s Moccs was founded on the idea of creating high quality moccasins that are affordable for all types of families. The incredibly talented faces behind the name, mother-daugher duo Kim and Alyssia, have grown their company tremendously over the past 3+ years and show no signs of slowing down. With a variety of styles and colours to choose from I had a hard time narrowing down my top choices but ultimately landed on these light blue leather moccs and these mustard ones. These premium moccasins are the perfect addition to my little ones wardrobe not to mention they make the most adorable gifts. I’m already busy picking out pairs for my nieces and nephews.

Each moccasin is designed with the utmost in care and detail. They feature an elastic opening making them super easy to put on and take off, and are designed with leather bottoms for durability. The insoles have a beautiful, soft padding so I know my little guys feet will be protected when wearing them (ok just the thought of him running around in them in enough to melt my heart!).
