Blush and Lace

Adding unique, timeless pieces to my wardrobe is something I’ve been focusing more and more on the past few years. While I love my fast fashion finds, I’ve found myself investing in premium pieces from local and international designers, opting for quality over price, and craftsmanship over fast trends. One of the things I love most about living in Oakville is that it’s home to some of the most exclusive stores, specifically the uber chic and thriving Blush and Lace boutique located just east of Dundas and Neyagawa on the north side of Dundas. You can use the discount code KIKI30 for 30% off your in-store + online purchase on all regular priced items.

Owned and operated by two stylish sisters-in-law, Georgia and Elaria, Blush and Lace is one of Oakville’s newest and trendiest boutiques housing one-of-a-kind finds from a range of stellar designers, including loads of beautiful Australian pieces. Whether you’re looking to freshen up your wardrobe, outfit yourself for a night out on the town, get vacation-ready or find the perfect piece for that upcoming gala or event, this stunning boutique has something for every fashion-loving woman. To say I’m obsessed with their pieces would be a complete understatement; I literally want to own everything!

I had the chance to catch up with Elaria to learn a bit more about Blush and Lace, and I’m excited to share some of my favourite pieces with you guys, although I must admit it was almost impossible narrowing down my top picks.

Where did the concept of Blush and Lace come from?

“It was created by my sister-in-law, Georgia, and I. Georgia is from Australia and when she came here she wasn’t a big fan of our styles so she decided to bring some Australian brands in and open something up.”

What goes into the selection process for the pieces you carry?

“We browse online, meet with vendors and order pieces we think are unique. We order 6 months ahead of time so we’ve already started ordering for fall.”

How often do you bring in new pieces?

“Every month we have at least 3 – 4 shipments.”

Blush and Lace offers online shopping. Where can you ship?

“We ship anywhere in Canada.”

When I saw this Aspects Dress online it was love and first sight. I adore everything about this piece from the velvet detailing to the colours to the delicate front lacing. It looks super feminine with these Quay See Me Smile sunglasses and Peyton crossbody (detachable strap).

Who doesn’t love to layer in the winter, especially with the weather we’ve been having lately. The colour of this Turtleneck Cable Knit Sweater is undeniably beautiful for all seasons, and looks great paired with this denim Dreamer Jacket which is soft, warm and stylish …win, win, win!

If you’re a casual dresser, there’s no denying how trendy and versatile this Axial Stripe Bomber Jacket is, especially paired with some fun accessories like this Julie Beanie, Elli Large Satchel (obsessed) and Quay Hearsay Blue sunnies.

From vacations to galas to Valentine’s Day, Blush and Lace hands down has the most beautiful and unique selection of dresses in Oakville. As soon as I put on this Like Gold Black Dress my heart melted. It’s so comfortable and breathable, and the front waist ruffle and tiered hems ruffles add a playful and timeless twist.

It didn’t take long for jumpsuits and rompers to become a wardrobe staple, serving as an all-in-one outfit that’s just as easy to dress up as it is down. This Hold Back Polkadot Jumpsuit is simple yet sophisticated, and I opted to dress it down with this Rebel Starstruck Jacket and Quay OLT II Square Sunglasses. Some of my other favourite Blush and Lace jumpsuits include this one, this one and this one.

Here’s a peak at more of the beautiful prints, colours and pieces available at Blush and Lace.

Happy shopping lovies! Remember to use discount code KIKI30 for 30% off your in-store and online purchase!

xo, Kiki
