Clarins Fall 2017 Makeup Collection

While my daily make-up routine is fairly simple, there are a few products I can’t live without; black eyeliner, mascara and a bold, red lipstick. I’m ga-ga over Clarins 2017 fall make-up collection, comprised of rich colours that help enhance your natural features while adding the perfect pop of colour to your look.

Graphik Ink Liner

The focal point of next seasons makeup collection is this ever precise, oh-so bold eyeliner. I have small eyes, so I’m always relying on liner to contour and create a prounced look. While it usually takes me a couple tries to get used to the feel and shape of a new liner, I fell in love with Clarins Graphik liner from the first moment I used it. Whether you’re going for the perfect cat eye or a subtle look, the precise tip of this eyeliner makes it easy to use (perfect for the liquid liner novice), and the intense black colour is bold and captivating.

4-Colour Eyeshadow Palette

While I don’t wear eyeshadow on a regular basis, I do use it to create intensified looks for special events like weddings, galas or parties. The Forest palette is perfect for fall, drawing in earthy hues to create a dimension. With two shades of green (one satin and one subtle), one matte grey and one satin pink, this palette is the epitome of fall.  The rich colours are buildable, and they guide on quite smooth for a flawless finish. I’ve been using the pink shade on the crease of my lids to open my eyes up, and blending it into the edges for a smooth finish.

Ombre Matte Eyeshadow

This cream-to-powder eyeshadow leaves behind an incredible matte look, and the bamboo powder delivers a long-lasting effect. I’ve used the ivory shade a few times and love the natural pop it brings to my eyes without being overwhelming. My favourite thing about this shadow is that you can apply it with your finger (guilty as charged), and it doesn’t flake onto your undereye area or cheeks. No mess. No crumbles. No flakes. Woot!

Joli Rouge Lipstick & Lipliner Pencil

As I’m sure you guys know by now, I’m a sucker for red lipstick. With what seems like a million shades of red lipstick on the market, choosing the right shade to compliment your look and complexion can take time. Do you prefer deep or bright, glossy or matte, liquid or creamy? I rarely stray from Burberry Kisses in Military Red, but I must say Clarins has hit the nail on the head with one of their newest shades, Deep Red. Not only is this lipstick super moisturizing thanks to the organic marsh samphire, but it glides on like silk while the mango oil provides comfort and nourishment. I lined my lips with Clarins Lipliner Pencil in red, which did a great job in preventing running. The pencil tip glides on smoothly, so perfect for those with a shaky hand.

Daily Energizer Lovely Lip Balm

To say I’m obsessed with this lip balm is the understatement of the year. I’m not sure if it’s the long lasting moisturization, the subtle hint of colour, the gorgeous packaging, or a combination of all three, but I haven’t left home without this balm since I received it. Filled with organic cocoa butter and shea oil that helps to nourish and repair, this balm also contains an “intelligent” pigment which reacts with your lops pH level to create a natural colour on your lips.
