Inspired by the city of romance, the OPI Venice Collection gracefully marries soft, delicate hues with vivid and dramatic shades to showcase a contemporary spin on Baroque style. At first sight the collection may seem like an odd group of colours, but together they truly capture the essence of Venice. From Gelato on My Mind to Amore at the Grand Canal the beautiful range of this collection has made it one of my favourites by OPI. Let these 15 stunning shades whisk you away to dreamy Venice!
Here’s a close-up look at the colours in this F/W 2015 collection:
A Great Opera-tunity – One coat of this peachy creme colour will do the trick. This shade looks a bit dull against my skin so I’m personally enjoying the other neutral colours in this collection.
Amore at the Grand Canal – Make a bold statement in this dramatic red!
Baroque…But Still Shopping! – What’s that saying? Oh ya …glitter makes everything better! Uh huh! If it’s gold & sparkling, it’s got my seal of approval. Unlike a lot of glittery nail polishes, the glitter in this colour spreads out beautifully on each nail. It does take some elbow grease to remove however.
Be there in a Prosecco – This beautiful neutral beige is warm, inviting and perfect for fall.
Gelato on My Mind – This sweet and playful colour looks great, but it does go on a bit watery so I recommend 3 coats.
Gimme a Lido Kiss – Obsessed! I’m a sucker for red nails in the fall and winter, and this colour gives off just the right amount of shimmer to light up a room.
I Cannoli Wear OPI – If you’re looking for the hottest grey of the season, you’ve just found it in this soft, creamy colour.
It’s a Piazza Cake – I wasn’t attracted to this colour at first sight, but once applying it on my nails I loved the deepness in the orange which has a slight brown tinge to it.
My Gondola or Yours? – Two coats of this striking colour and you’ll be ready to take on the world. This luxurious black contains a subtle shimmer for a dramatic punch.
O Suzi Mio – Rich and romantic, the intensity of this deep plum has me head over heels.
Purple Palazzo Pants – Fun, elegant and playful ..right up my alley!
St. Mark’s the Spot – This vibrant royal blue has an awesome metallic tinge which is perfect for a night out on the town!
Tiramisu for Two – With more of a pinky undertone, this colour is on the deeper side of the neutral spectrum for this collection.
Venice the Party? – This bold and playful colour will ensure your nails stand out from the crowd!
Worth a Pretty Penne – One coat of this colour provides enough richness to elevate your nails to a level of sophistication. The shimmery copper colour is sensual and modern.
Thanks to OPI for sharing this collection with me!
Ciao for now my loves.
