Practical Baby Essentials
from Fisher-Price

Before Evan was born I went to town purchasing an endless supply of bow ties, designer shirts, high top sneakers and every hat under the sun. I remember my sister (and mom of three) looking through my new purchases and politely asking me if I had lost my mind. “What exactly do you think an infant needs bow ties and sneakers for?” she asked. Now, five months into my mama journey I’m asking myself the same question. If there is one thing I’ve learned since Evan has been born it’s that functionality is key, and quite honestly my best friend at the moment. Whether I’m shopping for day-to-day bodysuits or bedtime essentials, comfort is everything

I’ve fallen completely in love with these Fisher-Price essentials and have gotten so much use out of them over the last couple months. Available at Babies R US, practicality meets comfort and style with this adorable line of playful pieces which are currently on sale for 25% off from now until Nov 20th, 2019.

This two-piece overall and long sleeve bodysuit set is perfect for baby classes, play dates, running errands, Sunday brunchin’ …ok, pretty much everything. Not only are they super cozy for fall/ winter but I love the neutral colours and simplicity in these pieces, and the fact they work for Evan when he’s in his car seat. And how adorable are the little animals on the overalls?! The snap openings at the bottom make diaper changing a breeze and the fact that they are hidden provides a clean, seamless look. One of my favourite things about this set is that I can mix and match the pieces. I often find myself reaching for the bodysuit at bedtime because we put Evan to sleep in a long sleeve bodysuit and sleepsack. Versatility at its best!

Speaking of sleepsacks, this is hands-down one of my favs. The quality is incredible, the zipper protector and top button openings are awesome and the size is perfect. I find a lot of 0-6 sleep sacks are huge on Evan so I love how this one is the perfect fit for his growing body. He’s so comfortable in it and I’m comfortable knowing he’s cozy and ready for a good night sleep.

If Evan’s not wrapped up in his sleepsack for nap time I usually put him down in a sleeper. I’ve come to learn you can never have too many sleepers and I love these Fisher-Price ones so much so that I picked up a couple more over the weekend. When I’m heading to my family or friends for the day I always pack one of these with me because I know they keep Evan warm. The solid grey one slips on great (Nitin gets so flustered when clothes are tight to get over Evan’s head ..the struggle is real!) and buttons up easily. As for the hooded sleeper, I can’t even! It is probably one of Evan’s cutest sleepers. The little ears on the hood are enough to melt my heart, and the zipper makes my life so easy when I need to change my little bambino.

All these features like zipper covers, lapped shoulders and hidden snap buttons meant nothing to me five months ago and now all of a sudden rock my world. It’s safe to say these pieces get my mama seal of approval. A huge thanks to Fisher-Price for making my life that much easier and for keeping my little bambino comfy, cozy & stylish.

xo, Kiki
